All pets serviced by K-9 Kaboose must be current on rabies vaccines. Documented proof from a veterinarian is required. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The total price will be determined and quoted before service begins no hidden or surprise charges. If during the grooming process a need for an additional charge is discovered the pet parent will be contacted and informed before the charges will be added and services performed.
Payment is due upon completion of services. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We accept Cash, Personal Checks, and Money Orders. There will be a $35.00 handling fee for returned checks.
For the 1st appointment the pet parent must be present.
If a repeat customer, owner does not need to be present.
We reserve the right to refuse service to pets that we feel are unsafe to groom. Unsafe either to the groomer due to aggression or other temperament issues or unsafe to the pet due to stress, health, matted pet or safety concerns.
If at any point during the groom the groomer feels that it is no longer safe to continue the grooming process the process will be halted. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES WILL STILL BE EXPECTED.
If dog is heavily matted and needs to be shaved or stripped, this is a pre-existing condition. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SKIN CONDITIONS THAT MAY BE UNCOVERED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SKIN INJURIES THAT MAY RESULT FROM THE SHAVING PROCESS INCLUDING NICKS, CUTS AND CLIPPER BURN AND ANY OTHER FORM OF SKIN IRRITATIONS THAT MAY RESULT.
Before a heavily matted dog can be shaved the owner or agent must sign a MATTED PET RELEASE FORM authorizing K-9 Kaboose to shave or strip the pet. WE reserve the right to decline services if we feel that the matting is too severe to be removed safely we recommend at that point the pet be brought to a vet.
If your pet has been diagnosed or you suspect any pre-existing conditions that may result in a reaction brought on by the grooming process, such as arthritis, heart, liver or kidney disease. Please let the groomer know about it. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY REACTIONS THAT MAY OCCUR DUE TO PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS UP TO AND INCLUDING DEATH OF THE PET.
In the event of an injury during the grooming process (not related to pre existing conditions) we will first notify the customer for further instructions. We will then if a vet trip is necessary bring the pet to our vet and cover the expenses.
Any type of injury to a pet must be reported to the owner at once.
All sales are final. If you are not satisfied with the work done on your pet please notify us within 24 hours. We will be happy to come out and attempt to correct any complaints you may have within reason.
Our time is valuable so if you must cancel your appointment please contact us no less than the night before. All no call no shows will be required to prepay via phone for any future appointments with no refunds.
I will always call before heading to a customers home for an appointment. I
MUST GET YOU ON THE PHONE OR THE APPOINTMENT IS AUTOMATICALLY CANCELED AND
TREATED AS A NO SHOW. Please see to it that I have a valid phone number to
get in contact with you. THIS Applies to ALL customers both new and repeat.
